Volunteer Opportunities

There are several ways you can volunteer to use your talents and skills at Running the Race Horse Ranch. All volunteers must fill out an application, complete an interview with RTR staff and pass a background check prior to beginning ongoing volunteer work. Throughout the year, special "volunteer work days" are scheduled for larger groups and organizations, as well as individuals to assist with some manual labor and maintenance projects on the ranch.

Specific Volunteer Opportunities:

    Care for horses.

    Teach horse care and riding skills to youth.

    Registration help with camps.

    Ranch maintenance – specific work days scheduled.
